ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Janak Singh, PhD started his writing career after retirement in 2006 as a Principal scientist from Pharmaceutical institute of Bristol Myers Squibb at Princeton New Jersey. Prior to that he had a research and teaching position in India followed by Post Doctoral Research in Columbia University, New York. He published his first book on “World Religions and the New Era of Science” in 2010. After that he published three poetry books in Punjabi and their translations. This composite poetry book is translation of his fourth book published in 2020. The poems cover a wide variety of topics dealing with human emotions, beliefs, natural phenomenon, geographic wonders, role of science and appreciation of human values. The messages emphasize progressive changes through education for eradication of hostilities among people caused by biased opinions, misdirected indulgences, blind faith and superstitions to sustain global peace and harmony.
